Vision…

…is that every girl becomes an asset to their family, friends, community and themselves. That each girl live and work with integrity, power and diligence while developing spiritual maturity, self –love, discipline, and obtaining higher education. That every member might grow to know her destiny, purpose, and desires and to fulfill it with great joy and hope. That she will become an asset to her community that will encourage others.

Goals

Young girls who will mature into smart, hardworking teens who will carry themselves with integrity and self-control. 

Goal:

To increase positive self imagery, while reducing negative body imagery and lifestyle.

Goal:

That each girl will see the beauty in themselves and believe it. That the words of others won’t be able to tear them down.

Goal:

To expand the horizon of participants by exposing them to different experiences and role models. We want every girl to continue their education beyond a high school level. That they will find a sense of belonging in something positive instead of looking to gangs and boys which ultimately can lead to violence; incarceration; or teen pregnancy.

Goal:

Graduation and Higher Education rates will increase; while the number of young girls who are incarcerated, on involved in violent crimes will decrease; and teenage pregnancy rate will decrease.

Goal:

The HIV, STD, and AIDs rate in young black women decrease and they understand the importance of good health.

Goal:

Giving them the tools and resources to create strong family dynamics and strengthen the relationships between  mother and daughters.   

We Meet These Goals By…  

• Establish a strong network of support with the school systems, the juvenile court system and the community

• Launch a series of fundraising activities that will successfully fund the expanding program. 

• Establish an effective training program for mentors that will increase their ability to be successful communicators.

• Establish an effective monitoring system to protect both the youth, the mentor, graduation rates and college enrollment, young girls who are not subject to recidivism, as well as enrollment in programs and after school activities.

• Provide effective programming and activities that produce mental; physical; emotional; social and educational growth.
