Free Spirit was founded in 2013 by Tanielle Donner. The term “free-spirited” is used to describe an expressive person with a complex way of thinking, a passionate soul with an uninhibited personality who embraces the world with positivity regardless of what comes their way. I chose the name “Free Spirit” because fashion is a form of art, and I believe people should be able to express their creativity through fashion without judgement.

I want people wearing “Free Spirit” to feel free to be themselves, free to make it through life’s challenges while never giving up on their dreams. I want “Free Spirit” to inspire the uninspired, not just through fashion, but through all forms of artistry.
