Crafted by “Type 4 Natural” Janell Jermon, Kultured Kurlz was created for Type 4 naturals who struggle with retaining length, moisture, and a nourished scalp. Formulating the best products with carefully researched and ethically sourced ingredients is our core interest. For 7 years, Janell’s top priority was keeping her hair and scalp healthy. With a few minor setbacks along the way, she finally developed a hair care routine that manifested great results, which consisted of products that she whipped up in her kitchen. In February 2018, Kultured Kurlz (originally 4Curlz) was created on Instagram to share her recommendations and D.I.Y formulas to help other type 4 naturals achieve stronger, shinier, healthier hair.
