CLEVELAND, Ohio – LaRese Purnell is in the middle of one of his latest projects, this time trying to help turn-around a black-owned small business at no cost to the business owner.

From the look of Instagram and Facebook promotions, it’s easy to assume that this entrepreneurial activist has it all figured out, considering it’s one of three events he’s hosting in August as founder of “The Real Black Friday,” a nonprofit organization aimed at pushing for more support of black-owned businesses.
